Scrapmatts - AUGUST post :)

Well I know you have all been feasting your eyes on the beautiful work that the Scrapmatts DT girls have been producing this month for you using all the new dainty and beautiful chippies :)
so here is my contributions, I suppose you can consider this your visual desert for the month :))
First up is my layout

Sisters

On this one I have used CB6073 Birdbaths 02 and just left them o'natural to contrast on the pastel colours. Pic is of my sissy and I at our Grans 80th birthday last year.



Next I have done a layout that I was really happy with:

This pic is of my darling big girl Viola on her ninth birthday last month (yeah I know - 9!!!!!! yeek!) I have had sooo much fun completeing this layout I just didnt want it to end LOL! I have used CB7007 Printer's Tray 03 which I gessoed white, then smudged with bright aqua paint and coated with Jo Sonia crackle medium. Once it was dry I rubbed some brown distress ink in to give it the aged and cream look :) I have also used the cute little CB1170 Wicker Chair 02 which I have left as was (which was simply perfect for this page :)




I have not used all the layers of the printers tray on here so that means I have enough for another layout or off the page project!

Some of you may recognise my bestie Gilly and her daughter in this pic which was taken earlier this year by my friend Lisa Amiet :)
I have used the new CB6076 Table Lamp 02 which I thought would look devine as a Tiffany stained glass lamp :) so I used Timj Holtlz clear crackle paint coloured with the devine misty goodness of the Lindy's Stamp Gang mists.

Family Matters Most

 I have used CB8005 Layered Frame 03. (which after I saw Sonia's at the June Brissy show I HAD to use!) This is the layout that I have done for my kit class at Fancy that scrapbooking in Springfield :) The pic is one taken of my littlle fam last year in July when we went down south to the Southern Highlands.
